Looking for tips and things to do. Planning on Denver Mint, Coors Factory, Pikes Peak and some other typical places. Where are good burgers, pizza and brew pubs?

Hey Bob! Lots of great options in Denver. I still think Beau Jo's is the best pizza in the country. I haven't been in over 10 years but I am sure its still good. Everyone is talking about Smashburger as the spot for burgers but haven't tried it yet. Let me know if you try it. For Brewery's, try the ones close to Coors Field...Lodo's, Breckenridge, etc. More of our staff recommendations are listed here. Have fun!

We drove up to Boulder for a few hours when we were in Colorado. It's a really cool town with a lot of places to eat, and it's only about a half hour from Denver.

The National Ballpark Museum is located half block from Coors field. We are a small museum loaded with items from the classic old ballparks. It would be a great addition to your trip. My recommendation for side trips would be Golden, CO just a few minutes from Denver and the Falling Rock Brewery just a few steps from the NBM and Coors field. We do have an admission fee. Hope to see you on your trip! The Smilow family visited the museum last week.
