I would have to agree with Scott. Stay away from the outfield bleachers and move behind the plate and upper deck for a better view.

Beware of obstructed views at Target Field

I ran across this list of obstructed views at the new Target Field. Beware when you buy your ticket!

Here are the released obstructions so far:

• In Section 101, near the right-field foul pole, fans in lower-numbered seats (1 and 2, etc.) from rows 25 through 40 have a wall blocking parts of their outfield view. Those seats cost $32 for most games, $37 for premium games.

• In Section 139 (right field bleachers), some seats have a limited view of the outfield because an adjacent section is rai… Continue

First Pitch at Florida Marlins new Ballpark!

Here is the answer to a future Marlins trivia question. Josh Johnson threw out the ceremonial first pitch last week on the grounds of the Marlins new ballpark site. I guess we know who their franchise player is...receiving $39 million dollars just moments before.

Check out the full story and pictures. http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/marlins/2010/01/21/josh-johnson-throContinue

The Impossible?

I am simply amazed by what this guy has done. To see every possible baseball match up, home and away is just unreal! Congratulations to John Salvo and his accomplishments. I wish he was on this site to share his stories. See link below...

The Final Yankee Stadium Tour

Yankee Stadium held their final tour on Sunday, November 23, 2008. A group of 40 lucky people were the last ever fans to see the insides of Yankee Stadium in tact. Parts of the stadium have already been moved to the new site- including Monument Park. Demolition begins next March just as the new Yankee Stadium opens its doors.

Thanks Jack. I had a chance to go to Old Yankee Stadium 3 years ago to see a couple of games against your rivals. As a Dodger fan, and of course this is a biased opinion, the Dodgers-Giants rivlary is baseball's best !!!! All personal feelings aside, have you seen a game at the new digs yet ?

Hey Jack. Yeah anytime the Dodgers have a fireworks show the fans are always permitted on the field ( weather permitting of course ). It's a real cool experience.

The Stadium is unreal ! ... the best part is when you are sitting and watching the game .. you really feel like it is the old Yankee Stadium and then you look around and see how amazing it is .. and the way it is set up you never have to worry about anyone walking in front of you while you are watching the game ... it is awesome!

thanks for the compliment on my photo albums. I am so addicted to taking a ton of pictures since joining this website. All my albums are labled of when the game was, the field name, and the city. The only two minor league fields I have seen right now are O'Brien Field in Peoria, IL (Peoria Chiefs--Cubs Class A) and Alexian Field in Shaumburg, IL (shaumburg Flyers--Independent League)
