I have been so fortunate to attend the ASG this year. Aside from going to all 30 ballparks, my other lifetime baseball goals were to attend an All-Star Game and a WS Game. At least now, I can check…Continue

College World Series

Posted on May 15, 2010 at 8:30pm 1 Comment

Has anyone ever been to the College WS in Omaha? I was hoping to go check it out sometime in the future, just to say that I've been there/ done that. Just wondering if it's worth it based on any past experiences. If and when I go, I will have to make sure that my alma mater, LB State, is in it. That way I will have someone to really cheer for.

I just lost one notch in my belt

Bummer, I had to change my status from 18 current stadiums visited to 17, due to the HHH Metrodome no longer active. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it all the way out to Target Field this year, but hopefully I can get out to at least one new ballpark this season to continue progressing forward. Onward !!!

2010 All-Star Game tickets

Posted on February 28, 2010 at 10:26am 3 Comments

Anyone know when the all-star game or HR Derby tix will go on sale to the non-season ticket holding general public? I can't find anything on the Angels site, except for all-star celebration activities, which I'm not really interested in attending, except for the actual game or HR Derby. They are way too expensive on StubHub, etc...

Caribbean Series starts today!!!

Hey friends,

If you've never watched the Caribbean Series, do yourself a favor and check it out. I became a fan in 2005 and watch it religiously on TV every year. It's broadcasted on the MLB Network in English or on ESPN Deportes in Spanish. The passion and level of play is pretty unreal. It first began in 1949 and is played with the winners of each Winter League in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela. You even get MLB players in the mix. This year it's in… Continue

You will never see the American game the same way again. The Japanese game is faster, they put the ball in play most of the time, no one steps out, and there's only 2 minutes allowed between innings. The pitchers actually start warming up in front of the dugout with 2 outs in the inning.

Plus, the fans are amazing. Constant cheering, drums, there are songs for the teams, even some of the most popular players have their own songs.

It's completely amazing.
