Posted on September 15, 2009 at 2:47pm 0 Comments

I am psyched since my big 2009 roadtrip got cancelled, I am looking for a late april roadtrip and I think I found it with a quick look at the schedule.

I could potentially knock off 9 stadiums in 14 days. Including new Target Field! And get to see the Mets (the 2010 NL East Champions...LOL) twice!!! woo hoo

Lots of driving but with me and a few folks we could do it!!!

here is what I found....(home team listed first)

Houston vs Pittsburgh 4/24

Texas vs… Continue

Priceline.com came through big time for me in Cleveland!!

Posted on June 6, 2009 at 9:34pm 8 Comments

So I went to Cleveland to see the Yankees/Indians game and went on priceline.com hoping to get something pleasent enough to not want to run out at 3am kind of hotel.

I bid $40.00 expecting to get a days inn or something like that...imagine my suprise when the Hyatt Cleveland Arcade, one of the highest priced Cleveland hotels on the Progressive Field Chasers Guide popped up. The normal night in that hotel is 229.99!!

So anyone planning on Cleveland, take a chance on… Continue

Onward and Upwards....ballparks 12 & 13 this week coming!!! woo hoo!

So me and my pal Rick are leaving tomorrow night to head to Progressive Field in Cleveland on Monday night, we are gonna take the ballpark tour in the morning, the Indians are playing the Yankees, so I will actually have a rooting interest in the home team for once!! LOL

The we will head down to Pittsburgh the next morning to PNC Park, take in the ballpark tour and then that night games Mets/Pirates game....should be good as Johan Santana is pitching from MY Mets!!!

I will… Continue

Nationals Park - What a great stadium!

Posted on May 23, 2009 at 9:05pm 11 Comments

When I made my plans to go to Nats Park, I had very little in terms of my expectations. The team is lousy at best most of the time, the stadium is in a run down area of town and to be honest, I was going to see two last place teams (Orioles) "battle it out"

Well let me say this...Nats Park was probably my favorite stadium in the past few years. The place was exceedingly clean, well taken care of and the sound and public address announcer was amazing.

The game was a 12… Continue

Paul,
I just notifced that you plan to be at Target Field on June 28 for the Tigers/Twins game.

We will be there (section 210 row 4).

Is Ken Lee still planning to go to that game too?

Maybe we can connect - let me know.

Hey Paul! Hope your trip went great! I havent been to Cleveland since 2002 and Cincy since 2003... really need to get back there! :)

So I was looking at tix for the Mets vs Cardinals game on July 27th. On StubHub I can grab tickets for $15, they are $20 after fees. No clue where the seats are, but I am planning on just walking around and watching the game from different spots on the main concourse. Anyway, do you want me to grab you one when I buy mine?

Lemme know :)

Someone on yelp once commented it was her mission to eat a hot dog in all 30 ballparks. One you may want to beware of if you're out here in the west is the Friar Frank in San Diego. Nassssssssssssssty, real nasty.
