Hi, if anyone's interested, I was on TV a few weeks ago talking about ballparks. Since it was in CT we talked about Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park, and also I added in Camden Yards, PNC Park and Citizens Bank Park. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=432T4ob8nfk

Hi, I wanted to share this piece I wrote about visiting the ballparks of the AL East. It's part of a series and I plan to do a different division each week, followed by a piece on Fan Experiences at ballparks. Lots of great parks in the AL East, and also there's Tropicana Field :-)

I just got tickets to the Hall of Fame Classic in Cooperstown on Memorial Day Weekend. Anyone else planning to be up there then? SO excited. Package includes a meet-and-greet with former players and some Hall of Famers. Have not been to Cooperstown in over a decade and this seems like the perfect time to return!

Apparently, the Mets have Bark at the Park days, when you can bring your dog and sit on the Pepsi Porch. Never thought I would do this, but bought a ticket for April 6th for me, my wife and our puppy if any NYC-area dog owners might be interested in joining. Baseball and dogs...together at last! It benefits the North Shore Animal League.

Hi everyone, I just released my first book and it’s all about Ballpark Chasing, though I didn’t use that term since I came across this site way too late (and it’s not my term anyway!). Literally years in the making, Rally Caps, Rain Delays and Racing Sausages is a chronicle of my trips to all the major-league baseball stadiums over several years and offers a look at baseball teams’ relationships with their fans.

Literally years in the making, Rally Caps, Rain Delays and Racing Sausages is a chronicle of my trips to all the major-league baseball stadiums over several years and offers a look at baseball teams’ relationships with their fans.

I count 34 major–league parks that I have been to, though I have not been to the current parks in Miami and Minneapolis and counted their old ones in pursuit of this quest, which I finished at the end of the 2011 season.

The book is now available in paperback, for Kindle and the Nook, and will also soon be available for iBooks. For more info, please visit: www.rallyrainsausage.com

The book got a great pre-publication review from Kirkus Reviews, which appears in the October 15th edition of their magazine: https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/eric-kabakoff/rally-caps-rain-delays-and-racing-sausages/

I really enjoyed seeing all the different parks over the years and hope to hit more moving forward. And I’ll be able to use this site, which wasn’t available when I could have really used it!

Thanks so much and Happy Chasing!
Eric
