June 23, 2011: Attended the last game of the Mariners vs. Nationals series, a game that the Nats came into with a cool .500 record.  Here was their chance to break into a winning record, something they have not done since 2005.

Baseball is finally in the air, but it feels like just yesterday that the New York Yankees inaugurated their new Yankee Stadium and then beat the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2009 World Series. Yankee Stadium was not the only new ballpark to open last season, or in New York for that matter. Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, also opened its doors.

Family's 30 MLB Ballpark tour benefits the Women’s Sports Foundation's GoGirlGo! Program



Roberto Coquis and Judy Pino visited all 30 MLB ballparks this summer with 8-month old baby, Sofia Coquis, in tow. They dubbed their tour "30 Ballparks and a Baby" and created a website documenting their experiences. During the tour they collected baseball memorabilia from MLB teams and supporters to be auctioned off for charity and have partnered with the Women's Sports Foundation's… Continue

On Sunday July 26, 2009 we completed a 3 day/3 ballparks stint. We visited the Diamond Backs Chase Field, Angels Stadium, and Dodgers Stadium. At this point we have visited 15 of 30 MLB ballparks.

We now head to San Diego to Petco Park for Friday's game.

Sofia took a break from her 30 ballpark tour to vote for her MLB All Star Teams. She is in South Florida and will attend Landshark Stadium (number 10) on the 4th of July to see the Marlins take on the Pirates.
