Here are my suggestions for your trip:

Detroit- Loved the Coney hot dogs I had at Leo's when I went to a Tiger game.  Leo's is connected to the stadium and has other options for food.  I have seen the more famous Coney hot dog places Lafayette's and American Coney Island (located next to each other in downtown Detroit) featured on various tv programs, but have never been to either one myself so I can't really say if they are any good.

Cleveland- The West Side Market is a must visit!  One of the oldest markets in the country, it offers so many varieties of foods for sale.  The gyros from Steve Gyro's are awesome!  Get there early as the lines can sometimes be long.

Thank you Tim

We are planning to drive from NJ strait to Detroit by 1pm for the Sunday game then go strait to Cleveland the next day for the Monday game and the final 3rd day drive to Pitt for the Tuesday game then back to NJ. so 11 hour to Detroit back 3 hours to Cleveland then back 3 hours to Pitt the 6.5 hour home to NJ. All 3 game in 3 days thats the plan.

I wish I could help you with Cleveland and Detroit but we didnt see much of Detroit. Had dinner at Hockeytown before the game is all we did.  Spent the night before in Livonia in a mall area then game and then headed out to Toronto afterwards so didn't see much.  Cleveland is still on my to-see list...Good luck in your trip.

Enjoy it.  Have been to Pittsburgh and Detroit (Actual name is Comerica Park - Tiger Stadium was torn down).  In Pittsburgh, make sure that you take the funicular up Mt Washington for a view over the ballparks. Primanti Bros is always a great restaurant before a game.
