Washington.....Bens Chili Bowl - Get the original half smoke all the way. Follow up with the soft serve ice cream in the Nats hemet. Baltimore..... I will always do Boog Powell's BBQ plates. You might see him there and get and autograph too, so go prepared. In Philly everybody says the crab fries and cheesesteaks... Gotta admit that was disappointing. But I think it maybe the best food there. I guess I have pretty high standards... Or I'm just a picky eater. If you go to a Mets game.... Shake…

And a burger....then another dog. Have yet to go to Pittsburgh but hear its a great stadium. Oh in Texas...my home team - BBQ of course!! Big new find at Nats Park this year, the Shwarmafel stand near the left field gate. Shwarma wraps are great, and fries are flavored with zaatar spice. I am torn - want to keep this a secret because lines are short or non-existent, but I want them to stay in business! Anyway, this would certainly enhance the experience of the Chasers coming to the park.

Was back at Wrigley today. I chose "The Heater" to eat this time. It was okay but not something I would get again. The blue cheese colesaw was kind of funky and there wasn't a whole lot of hot sauce to give it any kick. If I go back to Wrigley I will either stick with the Chicago Dog or keep digging until I find something good.

As always, you are spot on Kurt. I'm leaning towards "The Heater." I love your website and can't wait to see what you have on Toronto since I am headed there in July.

Oh yeah, Wrigleyville's got some great places to get your grub on. I've hear Yak-zie's has good wings, and of course there's Al's Italian beef on Clark St. south of the ballpark a couple blocks, which is like the end-all-be-all of Italian beef. Whenever I'm in Chi-town I always go for that deep dish though...Lou Malnati's is it!

The North Side Twist is a good option if you have someone to share it with. They ran out when I was there, so they ended up giving us three or four jumbo pretzels instead with some of the cinnamon cream cheese. It was good, but I only recommend it if you have the appetite. That's all I had besides a Chicago Dog in the park, but if you want to venture out, Dimo's Wrigley has pretty good pizza, and Hot Doug's has also been recommended. They're both within reasonable walking distance.
