I agree. Food and viewing is good. I believe that the previous grounds keeper (who the MN Twins stole) won some awards for how well kept the field was. The surrounding neighborhood in DC is nothing right now. The master plan was that they were going to build up the area with bars and restaurants. Until the economy recovers, the area is going to remain remote and fairly disconnected.

Somebody has to be at the bottom. It seems like the food is decent and viewing is good, but it fails to provide the complete package.

Nice site! Camden makes sense as no. 1 — though I would have loved to see Pac Bell in that spot. Er, SBC, er, whatever it is these days. I was pretty surprised to see Turner Field at no. 2. Really?
I must agree with you on the negative of the Giants' ballpark. The fans just don't compare to Candlestick. I've gotten yelled at for standing during full counts with two outs in one-run ballgames. Though, if you venture out of lower deck fans are pretty solid.

Cool site paul with lots of new info.
Hard for me to judge as I haven't been to them all. Football stadiums should always be ranked low but why Nationals Park lower than Oakland Coliseum? And Safeco at 19!

Camden as #1 seems like a good pick, based upon the criteria you were using... it was the first of the "newer" style parks... but I really think the older parks too- parks like Wrigley or Fenway almost need to be in a different category, as I find myself liking them for different reasons than I like the newer parks.
