My ballpark book "Rally Caps, Rain Delays and Racing Sausages"!

Hi everyone, I just released my first book and it’s all about Ballpark Chasing, though I didn’t use that term since I came across this site way too late (and it’s not my term anyway!). Literally years in the making, Rally Caps, Rain Delays and Racing Sausages is a chronicle of my trips to all the major-league baseball stadiums over several years and offers a look at baseball teams’ relationships with their fans.

I count 34 major–league parks that I have been to, though I have not been to the current parks in Miami and Minneapolis and counted their old ones in pursuit of this quest, which I finished at the end of the 2011 season.

The book is now available in paperback, for Kindle and the Nook, and will also soon be available for iBooks. For more info, please visit: www.rallyrainsausage.com

The book got a great pre-publication review from Kirkus Reviews, which appears in the October 15th edition of their magazine: https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/eric-kabakoff/rally-caps...

I really enjoyed seeing all the different parks over the years and hope to hit more moving forward. And I’ll be able to use this site, which wasn’t available when I could have really used it!

Thanks so much and Happy Chasing!
Eric

Hi, if anyone is interested, I was just interviewed on the radio show Stadiums USA, all about ballparks (for all sports). Link to the podcast is here and my segment begins 16 minutes in!

After my book talk and signing at the Hall of Fame, I was interviewed by the local Cooperstown Crier. Here's the link. I mentioned my Top 5 parks in this...please don't judge me too harshly!

Best of luck with your author chat at the HOF! I was in Cooperstown on August 5. I plan to get your book.

Enjoy Cooperstown!

I'm heading back to Cooperstown! The Hall invited me to give a talk and do a book signing as part of their Author Series. Thu 8/21 if anyone's planning to be up in that area around then! Here is their full schedule, in case anyone is interested in checking one out: http://baseballhall.org/news/press-releases/museum's-authors-series-programs-bring-latest-baseball-stories-cooperstown-0

There's a new review of my book in Stadium Journey Magazine. I had not previously heard of it. It looks like a great magazine to check out for Chasers, and not just for baseball parks!
