What is a good central area in Chicago to stay which will give easy access to the Red Line, downtown, Cellular and Wrigley? Any specific hotels that are moderately priced (good value, clean and safe)? Thank you.

I stayed at the Westin in the magnificent mile area, it was reasonably priced and very easy to take the subway to both ballparks.

Hi Tom! Check out our Wrigley Field & US Cellular Chaser Guides for our staff recommendations. This will give you a good starting point.

Thank you!

We just got back from a trip to Chicago to see the White Sox and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown North. The Redline entrance is literally across the street from the front door.

Thank you, Lea! I booked a room at a hotel called the Millennium. Looks to be a good central location and I am sure we will be using the redline allot.

I stayed by O'Hare airport within walking distance of the subway each time. You can catch the subway and transfer to either ballpark. It was less expensive than downtown hotels.
