Fuuny, my experience in Toronto was very similar: last weekend of the 2010 season. Many closed sections, very small crowd, place needed some updating. I didn't get Vizquel's last game, obviously, but had a little excitement watching Jose Bautista's 51st and 52nd homers of the year. The latter was a jaw-dropping, drop-your-popcorn-and-spill-your-sode kind of shot.

It was the season finale, so both the game and the crowd kind of had a feeling of let's just get this over. It had some excitement with it being Omar Vizquel's final game. Sitting behind the "In Action" seats led to a nice fan who gave me peanuts and a free program. The stadium itself had a feeling of some age, need of a little TLC and on that night cavernous and dark, especially for the small crowd.

What did you think of Rogers Centre?

Thinking of trying to complete the Midwest League. If I go in late June I can get all the Western ballparks, plus see the I-Cubs, Omaha, the Twins and Brewers in less than my two weeks of vacation time.

That's a pretty good list. Any places on your radar for 2013?
