Greetings everyone. in august we are taking a baseball trip. we are going to see the Orioles, Phillies,Pirates and Nats. I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on things to do between Philladelphia and Pittsburgh. We would be driving from Philly to Pittsburgh on a saturday and we have half a day to kill between cities. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't suggest "Xfinity Live!" as a place to kill a half day. Maybe a couple of hours. The Hershey Park Chocolate World is a good idea. How about a beach trip, whether in NJ, Delaware, or elsewhere? Just a thought.

If you're going through Bedford, stop in at Bedford candies to satisfy your sweet tooth. When we were there a couple years ago, his 80 something year old mom had just made some of the candies that day. Great guy if the place hasn't changed hands or shut down. You'll walk out of there with about 5 lbs. of homemade candy. Have a great trip.

In Philly of course before the game, XFINITY LIVE is a must to get a beer or appetizers. Chickies & Pete's is also is a must, and have to get the Crab Fries! And last, got to go to either Geno's or Pat's to a Cheesesteak!

I'll keep you posted, I'm going on my trip in June, with stops in Phi, Bal and Pit as part of it.

Hershey Park Chocolate World is a neat stop to make also this is free. Chocolate World is located at the entrance to the park. Nice gift shop and free chocolate at the end of the tour. Also the Altoona Curve is on the way also
