Event Description

Hello Chasers,

Our First Annual Ballpark Chasers Meetup is almost here! I am so excited to meet everyone and share the day with you. For those meeting for a quick drink at the downtown Lodo's Bar and Grill, I will be arriving at 2pm so look for us outside in their patio bar. For those meeting at the Ballpark Museum, we will be arriving just before 3pm. For those meeting at the game only, can you please email me back so we can discuss how you will receive your ticket/s?

Regarding payment, Rockies tickets came out to be $19 each and Ballpark Museum tickets are $6 each. You are welcome to pay me cash when we meet. However, my preference would be via Paypal beforehand. There is an option to send money to friends/family for no additional fee. If you have a Paypal account, after logging in, click "send money to a friend".

Again, if this is too much trouble, you can pay me when we meet.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

See you soon...

I could have made the July date but have games in California scheduled for August 16

It's looking like only local Chasers are able to attend this date in July. With that being said, what is your feedback on switching the date to the 16th or 23rd in August in order for more members to join us?

As much as I would like to attend, I am out for this year. I have trips planned for Florida in April, Cincinnati over the 4th of July weekend, and either Texas or Arizona/San Diego for the end of July/early August. I was in Colorado last season and loved it. It is a beautiful ballpark (I have it ranked 6th on my ballpark ratings blog http://stadiumtour-welsh.blogspot.com/search). I do plan on making it to Seattle next year. Hope everybody has a good time.

If anyone need information about Coors Field or the surrounding I'll be happy to assist.

A great thing about Coors Field is that you can go into a broadcast booth and call a half inning from the 1st up to the 7th and get a DVD to take home.

All the best,

I need to make a return visit to Coors Field but I'm already booked for the majority of the season. My last game there was Game 4 of the 2007 World Series. My trip to Australia is going to wipe out a lot of my vacation time this year. I do plan to be at the informal meet up in Chicago at the end of June. I have some other great weekend getaways planned too. If I was made of time & money, I would be there in a heartbeat.I plan to see Tike Narry that weekend & week when he comes back to NYC. Hope I can make the 2015 meet up in Seattle. I need to get back there too.

I will definitely be there. It's nice that I'm 25 minutes away.

My wife and I are in, looking forward to meeting other ballpark chasers! If you all need help with any planning let us know since we live in Denver.

Basically what Jim Wood said. Great idea, great location, but I will also be in Cooperstown. Induction ceremony number 23 in a row for me out of projected 28 unless something very unexpected happens in 2020

Sounds fun, count me in.. I love beer as much as I love baseball.. Wynkoop and Breckenridge are 2 great breweries.. Wynkoop has a rarely used upstairs and breckenridge has a back room, both which can be reserved by groups.. Wynkoop brews a beer with Rocky Mountain oysters (if you don't know, google it) that a lot of people find fun to try..Also, inside Coors Field is the Sandlot Brewery, where blue moon was founded.. This often gets packed but they offer limited release beers that are only available at this location.. Colorado is great, the worst part of the trip will be watching anyone in the Rockies rotation.

I have scheduled 46 games in 18 ball parks for 2014. While you are meeting in Denver, I will be in Tampa for games against the Red Sox and Brewers. Next year I'll try to keep July and August unscheduled until I find out the actual date of the Chasers meeting in Seattle. I see my good friend Jim Waddell won't be able to make it either. He and I are both over 1,170 lifetime games and met in Houston quite by accident in 2001. Since then we have been to over 100 games together, at least one in every park. I'm sorry I won't see all of you in Denver. John Salvo
