My 2014 baseball journey was a 6 day, 8 stadium journey to witness 9 games. Starting on June 27th and ending July 3rd, a total of 14 teams were seen during the trip.

Friday, June 27th- Angels at Royals. Late to the game, ended up missing Trout's 490 foot home run in the top of the 1st. Still kicking myself over that

Saturday, June 28th- Rays at Orioles. Highlight of the game was sneaking into the section behind the plate during the 4th inning after purchasing 13 dollar upper deck seats.

Saturday, June 28th- Braves at Phillies. Best firework show I've seen in MLB (LAA, LAD, CIN, KC are other shows)

Sunday, June 29th- Braves at Phillies. Day game + club section = baseball perfection.

Sunday, June 29th- Red Sox at Yankees. Bucket list kind of game. Ended up cheering against both teams by the end of it.

Monday, June 30th- Cubs at Red Sox. Jake Arrieta no hitter through 7 2/3. First Fenway game seen, as a Rays/Sox game from the trip last year was rained out

Tuesday, July 1st- Brewers at Blue Jays. If there is any game to watch the Blue Jays play, it is the Canada Day home game. Absolutely stunning atmosphere in Toronto. Game of the trip by far. Watched the USA/BEL World Cup game in a bar afterwards. I blame myself for the USA being knocked out having watched the game in a foreign country

Wednesday, July 2nd- Athletics at Tigers. Gloomy day in Detroit made better by the fact we got to see Verlander toss a good game. Always a delight to watch Oakland lose!

Wednesday, July 2nd- Angels at White Sox. 55 degrees and rain made this feel like a football game more than baseball. Second time I have seen my beloved Halos being walked off upon at Chicago (May, 2008 being the first)

Thursday, July 3rd- Astros at Angels. Arrived home earlier in the day, but felt like continuing the baseball trip! Snuck into Diamond Club with the help of a friend who has connections through his job as Honda Center security.

The trip brings my total number to 27 current ballparks. Seattle, Arizona, and New York (NL) have all been seen, but I've never been to a game at each. 2 defunct stadiums (Jackie Robbie and Old Yankee) are also on my list of games visited
