I traveled to 60 ballparks last year. Favorites include Altoona (PA), Brooklyn (NY), and Ogden (UT). Least favorites include Potomac (VA), Hagerstown (MD) and Wilmington (DE).

How did you do 60 ballparks in a year?! Ah-mazing! My favorite MiLB so far is Greensboro and Durham (NC). Both have a lot of character for Single A and Triple (respectively). I'll be hitting up a ton of new ones this year, so my opinions will/might change!
Hi Nick. It wasn't easy! I am fortunate to live in an area that has A LOT of teams within a couple of hour drive and planned all of my vacations to areas that I could hit 4 or 5 games in a long weekend. As you can imagine I spent a lot of time pouring over schedules - especially looking for quirks (for instance, I hit 3 California League parks on Memorial Day thanks to proximity and staggered start times.) Last year, my gf and I hit 44, although they were not all new to me (as you can imagine, it has become considerably more difficult for me to pick up new parks at this point.) I love the NC parks (just made my first trip to Kinston this past weekend! now, I just need to get over to Asheville to have the state completed at least with respect to minor leagues - thinking of starting on Coastal Plains League parks soon.)
I have heard no mention of any deep south venues. Texas and Oklahoma have some of the best minor league venues I think. My personal favorite is Dr. Pepper Ballpark home of the Frisco Roughriders also the newly built Oneok Field home of the Tulsa Drillers is a beauty. For AAA I thoroughly enjoy the Dell Diamond in Round Rock.

that area is a geographical dilemma for me .. I keep planning a Missouri/Kansas/Oklahoma trip, but then it gets too long and I put it on the back burner.  Of course having my count at over 120 means that I have to travel great distances to get ANY new parks at this point.  Picking up a few next weekend with Tri-City (NY), Hudson Valley, Vermont, and Pittsfield to complete the northeast!

Anybody went to Fluor Field in Greenville?  GREAT ballpark!
