Interesting, I didn't see it at Dodger Stadium when I was there last month (Monday 7/30). Maybe it's just on certain days. Overall, I saw it at 3 of the 10 MLB parks I went to. Also went to a 51s game in Las Vegas, don't remember seeing it there. They did have a dog fetching bats after the ABs, which was really cool.

I was just at Petco in San Diego - they do the t-shirts and 50/50 raffles. Saw t-shirts tossed at Anaheim and Dodger Stadium too. Not sure about lottery tix/50-50 raffles at those parks.

Sorry, didn't see this sooner - have been moving and traveling the past month and haven't been on the site. What did you think of Comerica Park?

off topic: we are going to see the Tigers Saturday (coming in from Philly.) weather says thunderstorms. Do you think we should cancel or just go? I know here they say storms and then it blows over quickly or never happens. Thoughts? Thanks!

I agree.... we don't need constant noise. That reminds me of KC last year. I went to a game with my dad and we literally couldn't even talk to each other while the Royals were at bat because there was so much noise being piped in the whole time.

Last week at GABP they had somebody yelling from the speakers whenever there was a lull for more than 2.3 seconds... It was horrendous. I couldn’t think or talk to my neighbors. This week watching the Cubs at Dodgers was just as horrendous with their incessant organ playing. I just don’t get it. How is this improving someone’s experience at the ballpark? Please, just let me sit back and enjoy the dang game!!

I'm gonna sound like the guy who frowns upon the guy who yells at kids to get off their lawn, but here goes.

1. It does happen in other stadiums (I've been to 29/30)

2. I do not think it "cheapens" the experience personally

3. Given the fact that MLB teams kept doing this while it costs them money, the overall impact is likely more good than bad (otherwise they would've stopped. it's a business after all).

4. To me baseball is already a "cheap" experience. Often times you can spare a mere $10 to get in there, feel free to wander around the park during play, and just have a good time in general.

5. I guess we'll all have to live with things we don't like if it's part of the thing we like. Personally I think 99% of the walk up songs are terrible, but given the general education level of pro baseball players, I wasn't too surprised (https://ledgernote.com/features/high-sat-scores-taste-in-music/).
