Congrats on new little buddy! We've been traveling with kids to ballparks for the past 9 years when we had our first bundle; most places are fine with the small fold up umbrella strollers or we found using the "kangaroo" carriers work even better. Any of those pouch like things that carry the tike in front of your work well. I'm heading to Target, Miller, and Chicago next summer myself if you have anything to add to my post. Thanks! :)

Thanks so much for the advice! I realize that Wrigley and Fenway are out with a stroller. I looked up Camden and Nationals Park and they seem to allow strollers in and have a place to check them inside the park. My concern is CitiField, my home park, they don't mention anything on their website so I'll have to call them before journeying there. I think we'll avoid taking the baby to games that are too crowded. She might have to wait a while for her first subway series game.

JVOLKS,

The stroller experience depends on the ballpark and, to be honest, the trouble. I started my son young, however, most of the parks we went to were minor league so we didn't have any problems. But I would never attempt to bring a stroller into Fenway or Wrigley or even some newer parks such as O.Co (if you want to call it new) and Dodger Stadium. Some parks may outright tell you not to bring it in, I would have a secondary backup plan in place if you are planning on chasing…

Good Luck on your chase.
Congratulations on the new ad…tag:www.ballparkchasers.com,2013-11-03:1681163:Comment:1646852013-11-03T01:35:15.115ZJim Wood (46 MLB)https://www.ballparkchasers.com/profile/JimWood
Congratulations on the new addition! You'll have plenty of fun sharing this tradition with the newest member of your family......

In 2007 we had our son in one of those collapsible strollers- not the standard ones but rather one that could fit under the seat when stowed. We brought that into Camden Yards and other public places without any issues. When in doubt call and ask as they should be able to help out. Good luck!
