forbes list has DODGER STADIUM AT #20 which is brutal, and ANGEL STADIUM AT #17 indicates this list was done in 2009 april because others will agree this place has definitely come down, COMERICA PARK also altered their ticket prices during the recession which is a main reason why it was #15 on this list-and PETCO PARK AT #12 on the list is weird considering they have A's on their report card.

I will be redoing my rankings soon, just got home 5 hours ago from my trip, but I will say that the Oakland Coliseum will go UP on the rankings... how far? Not far, maybe a spot only, but I had a GREAT time at 3 games there and that will amount to something :)

According to this written article the ballpark chasers came within range for the most part--maybe the only big differences are the ballparks in TEXAS and KAUFFMAN does get a little higher rank from FORBES,
The ballpark rankings were based on several different factors by 15 different people who have been to all of the '30 CURRENT MAJOR LEAGUE BALLPARKS' which are the only 30 ballparks that were ranked on. Some of the categories were: Ballpark viewing, Surrounding area, along with: Park Staffing/VALUE- consisting of parking/tickets and concession food, Food by itself as a category, and transportation(Park accessibility) were all factors of the rankings. So just know that I did not do these rankings all by myself. I would have had 'NEW YANKEE STADIUM' in the top 3.
As for your other questions about the said ballparks--they will be explained in the book. Keep in mind that the rankings will be a small potion of the book. The 'CHASER GUIDES' for each park--and my '2 WORLD RECORD ATTEMPTS' will make up the greatest amount of content.
The intention of the book is to help the fellow 'ballpark chaser' to enjoy the experiences of each ballpark and city for themselves---by providing them information based on personal experiences and fellow research. There will be great money and time saving tips that the readers may acquire for their own knowledge to apply to their own trips and experiences--just as Craig has done here with this website.

I am the 'WORLD RECORD HOLDER FOR FASTEST TO SEE ALL 30 HOME GAMES" for a reason. I did extensive research on each city in preparation for the streaks---and this novel----before and after I finished both attempts.

Of course I value others opinions and thanks for submitting me your thoughts. That is another reason how i was able to do a lot of research.
As for the dates you are in Seattle I will miss you by a day as I am in Seattle for the SAT NIGHT game on the 4th before flying to Minnesota for a Sunday game. I invite you to read my blogs in this website(I have written 35 or so) and also at www.myspace.com/30baseballgamesin26days Chuck,

Chuck,

These rankings don't make sense to me. I've been to 56 different major league ballparks most of them many, many times.

For example, I've been to the New Yankee Stadium 103 times so far and counting. That place is great. It's always a pleasure to get in and out.

Citi Field, on the other hand, is probably the worst ballpark ever constructed. That place has the most obstructed view seats of any ballpark and I like the Mets. I've seen 132 games there. Getting in and out of that place is a…

Citi Field, on the other hand, is probably the worst ballpark ever constructed. That place has the most obstructed view seats of any ballpark and I like the Mets. I've seen 132 games there. Getting in and out of that place is a nightmare.

Citi Field is ranked #8 and New Yankee Stadium is #13.

In my opinion, Wrigley Field is clearly #1 I've been there for 72 games including at least one every year since 1988. As far as the modern ones go, Citizens Bank Park which I've been to 103 times is #1 in that category. You rank that #16. Are you kidding me?

What criteria are you going by? I mainly care about watching the game. That's what all the old ballparks were built for.

Kauffman Stadium is #27? What are you talking about? I've seen 10 games there. I saw it with artificial turf, grass and now with the latest outfield renovation. That is one of the prettiest places to see a game. I know the team sucks but they should have nothing to do with the ranking.

Comerica Park #5? I went to Tiger Stadium 14 times. Now that was an amazing place to see a game. Just ask the media. The best press box to call a game from. I always sat right above them in the upper deck with the players practically in my lap.

Comerica is one of my least favorite ballparks. That should be #27 not Kauffman Stadium.

Don't get me wrong, your entitled to your opinion but if you're talking about writing a book about these places then you need to have some objectivity.

I personally have great taste. You should weigh my views into the mix then.
