So I have seen now six ball parks where my beloved Redsox played in. I am wanting to see though if anyone has advice on what they do to see their games? Do you have certain cities in order? Do you go to certain ballparks due to vicinity or cost? My next stop will be Toronto next year. Then perhaps try to finish off all east coast in NY, Atlanta, Ohio's two, and Tampa bay. Sure would be open to any advice.

Thanks. Yes I will begin to plan. I think I have settled on toronto for next year but I am hoping they play the braves so I can hit up Atlanta. I'll probably consider Cleveland

We look at cities and the cost. We also don't want to do all of the good cities first, you have to mix and match and figure when you want to go to Detroit even though you'd rather go to Seattle. I've been to 9 American League parks so far and am looking at Kansas City, one of the Texas parks or Seattle in 2016. Finishing visiting my beloved Bosox in all American League Parks is my bucket list right now as I am only doing one per year. I go to at least two games on each trip and sometimes three. BTW...The 2016 Red Sox Schedule is now available so you can start planning your next year trips!!!

Vicinity usually makes cost lower. I've done a number of trips that are Friday-Saturday-Sunday that are not that far. There was Min-KC-STL and Den-Dal-Hou. When you're doing that you can't count on who the teams will be. If you want to see the Red Sox you can save time and money if you go to stadiums on back-to-back days. For instance the Red Sox were in Atlanta on June 18 and Kansas City on June 19. You could've flown to Atlanta on the 18th, then KC the next day and returned home Saturday.

Wow minor league teams. How cool. Yeah it's much harder for me. I have to choose one or two cities then follow through. I would like to do my minors to. But not at this time.

My summer involved two types of trips: a) close proximity to new stadiums and b) revolved around stadiums that will no longer host their teams in 2016. I traveled to Nashville and Birmingham (two different trips) because I could make the trip in a single day. It turned into late nights, but since I was on vacation, I could sleep in. The other two trips revolved around the move of the Savannah Sand Gnats to Columbia SC and the New Britain Rock Cats moving to a new stadium in Hartford CT. I chose stadiums close to the target stadium or on the way. For the Savannah trip, I saw Chattanooga, Charleston SC, Jacksonville and Savannah. For the New Britain trip, I saw games in Florence KY, Reading, Pawtucket, New Hampshire, New Britain, Scranton, State College, Washington PA and West Virginia Black Bears. Of course, having the team schedules match with your schedule is important. Happy chasing.
