Jon Lester vs Adam Wainwright

-Lester has very limited experience against Cardinals. In one career he allowed two earned runs on nine hits. Lester did not factor into the decision, he did strikeout three and issued one walk. Lester 2-1 this postseason with an ERA of 2.33, he has struck out 14 while walking seven in 19.1 innings of work. Lester finished the regular season with a 15-7 record and a 3.75 ERA. He struck out 177 batters compared to 67 walks.
