Hey Dustin! Thanks for the heads up on the toll booths, definitely good advice!

We are doing the longest driving leg of the trip (Milwaukee to Detroit) today.

Wrigleyville was great, didn’t make it to Lou’s as we got caught up shopping/eating/drinking along the way.

Hey Daniel, this may sound like a "where to eat: more than tips, but when you are in a couple of these cities, you have to partake in the local favorites.

Chicago - Wrigleyville is a lot of fun.  Make sure you hit a Lou Malnatti's for deep dish.

Milwuakee - we were in and out, plus it rained the day we were there.  We didn't really get to enjoy the tailgating, but if you can everyone says it's great.

Pittsburgh - my favorite park.  Walking across the Clemente Bridge and looking at PNC is amazing.  Try to hit Primanti Bros for a sandwich.  Sit at the counter/bar, the cooks are crazy!

Baltimore - Camden is nice, Pickles Pub was a great place for a few beers before hand.  We went to Phillips for crab.  It is at the Inner Harbour and isn't too bad a walk.

Washington - I'm not American either, but make sure you see all the monuments in Washington.  They are quite the spectacle.  Arlington Cemetery was quite a sight as well.  There wasn't much around the park as far as we could tell.

Philadelphia - we've been to both Gino's and Pat's for cheesesteaks, both were great.

New York - so much to see.  Make sure you have comfy shoes for all the walking you will be doing.

Boston - we got into Boston in the rain and it misted all night long, but we got the game in.  Lots of bars around Fenway.

There are a lot of toll booths along the way, so try to have A LOT of change with you.

Good luck on getting to all of the ballparks.  I am hitting Atlanta June 14&15 to see "my Padres" for the last current ballpark I need to see a game at.  Atlanta is just a short flight away from Detroit.  :)  Have a great trip!!

Hi Joey - let me know if you make it to any of them - I'll be there as long as it's not rained out!

John - I've tried looking into MiLB games, but I'm not as familiar with the teams around there - any pointers?

Dustin - Thanks! I've been planning it for a while now, let me know if you have any tips for the 7 you made it to last year. And yes it is, I try to get a hat and/or jersey wherever I go! That was in SD back in July 17.

Just saw this Daniel, what a trip!!!  I envy the heck out of you!  I've been to all of those parks, but not all 12 in 14 days!  All of the parks you're seeing are quite nice (PNC is my favorite), but Guaranteed Rate will leave you wanting more.  I hit the last 7 parks last year for a 40th trip with some buddies.  None of the drives are too bad, but the traffic between New York and Boston was horrendous.  I hope the weather agrees with you and I know you'll have a great time.  Have fun Daniel!!

PS  Is that a Padre jersey you have on in that pic?

That looks like an awesome trip.  Although I would be awfully tempted to find some nearby minor league games for your days off!
