My husband, who died almost 3 years ago and 3 ballparks short of visiting all 30 (I did complete the journey) played in the College World Series 50 years ago for the University of Massachusetts.  I attended a reunion of the players last weekend at UMass (also my alma mater) and about 14 members of the team were present.  4 teammates have died and the coach just died a few months ago. …See More

Brenda, I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. I agree with everyone else, go for it. Life is way too short. Your husband proved that. Keep doing things that you would have with him in mind, he may be gone but he'll never be forgotten. Hope this trip helps the healing process. Hang in there. This group of people here will keep your mind occupied with positive vibes that will give you the strength you need to keep going on. Best of luck during this difficult time.
