Make sure you sample the rocky mountain oysters if you have never experienced! :)

Thanks everyone! Definitely going to hit up the stadium tour and the bars right across the street.

Yes- the bars across the street are great! I know they do stadium tours during the day for a fee- however I didn't do it. I would suggest going for a Coors brewery tour while you're there... that one is free! And the samples are great!

For a pre-game meal I love me some Breckenridge Brewery! But if you want the "token" bar and restaurant it's Lodo's. They have an outside deck with great views of the ballpark. As for things to see...ughhh...not a whole lot to recommend. What things…

s a beer geek from the East, no trip to Coors Field is complete without a visit to Falling Rock Tap House. Its close to the park and has 70ish craft brews on tap.

Hey, I'm going to Coors Field in May to catch the Dodgers in the three game series against the Rockies. Can anyone suggest things to do/see in and around the stadium? Any good bars or restaurants or other points of interest to possibly see?

Defiinitely check out the new Dodger facility in Glendale. The stadium is really nice, plus you have very close access to the players if you're interested in autographs and meeting the players. The practice fields are located right next to the stadi…

There is a small pizza place next to Wrigley, adjacent to The Cubby Bear that makes the biggest slices of pizza I've ever seen. 5 bucks for a slice of pizza and pop! I don't remember the streets, but it is right on your way to the "EL" train stop ri…

So here we are, up 5 runs in the 9th inning, and you figure this game is in the bag. Billingsley gives up a homer, and yes, he's done for the day. A solid outing, 8 1/3 innings, 2 runs, 4 hits, a homer and a double for the young ace. You'd think tha…

Coors Field

Hey,

I'm going to Coors Field in May to catch the Dodgers in the three game series against the Rockies. Can anyone suggest things to do/see in and around the stadium? Any good bars or restaurants or other points of interest to possibly see?

Petco Park

I'm getting ready to head down to Petco Park again this year for the July 3-5 series of the LA Dodgers vs. the SD Padres, and I have the good fortune to seeing Manny Ramirez make his return to the Dodger blue that weekend. Our seats are fantastic and we're staying right across from the park! You can't ask for more, except for the Dodgers to sweep the series.

Go Blue!
