Looking for Cleveland fans to attend a game

Hi all,

I'm going to be in Cleveland this weekend, and I'd like to check Progressive Field off my list of ballparks to visit. I'm planning to go to the Sunday afternoon game (8/15). Is anybody in the area going to the game? Any suggestions on where to get seats? I'm from San Diego, so I'm used to getting tickets fairly easily. Is that the case in Cleveland too?

I agree with Meg but I suggest that you just buy the cheapest ticket they have and you can sit where ever you want. Of course not on the suite levels unless you can sweet talk you're way in. The stadum is very conveniently located in downtown Cleveland. If you're driving there, you should be able to park on the street for free. Just read the signs but since you're going tomoorrow which is Sunday it should be no problem for you.

I'm not from Cleveland but was there earlier this summer.

You can get tickets right at the stadium (unless the Indians are playing a big name team like the Yankees or Red Sox).

Higher level, third base side gives you the best view of the city
First base side (level doesn't matter) seats you directly facing that big jumbotron

Be sure to visit Heritage Park in the stadium (beyond center field off the concourse). A superb hall of fame/museum of past Indians players.

There's a nice downtown area - a few blocks from the stadium - to eat and have a beer before the game.
