Now that the schedules are out, I am trying to plan a trip to see all 30 MLB parks next year. I've got a few different routes to look into, but I'm curious if anyone has any advice.
I'm planning on spending at least 90 days on the road - I'd like to see more than just the ballparks along the way. I've saved up a lot of money the past few years, but I've got some questions.

1. Has anyone rented a car long term? I don't own a car so it is either rent one or buy a used car. If I buy one, I'd most likely sell it after the trip.

2. Any tips on saving on rooms? I think this might be the biggest expense. I basically plan on spending a lot of knights in hostels in the bigger cities. Plus I might be able to get a tent to bring along to camp a few nights.

3. Anyone done this before? Advice?
