Stop number two on our official All 30 Parks tour, no parks that we have visited before count.

The tickets are printed, the itinerary is planned, the Red Sox shirts are washed and the caps are as dirty and faded as ever. Just how we like ‘em.

We head out to Philadelphia tomorrow to see what very well could be the World Series matchup. Since we will be in the city of brotherly love we plan to take advantage of some of the sites of thecity.

On the agenda:

Betsy Ross’s house where we will see the flag raised
The Liberty Bell-Zach is very excited to see the crack
A tour of Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were written
Franklin Court where Ben Franklin’s house once stood, since we are from Franklin this is a must see
Lunch at City Tavern the word is the servers are dressed in colonial garb
Constitution Center an entire museum dedicated to the Constitution
Dinner at the world-famous Pat Kings home of the original Philly Cheese steak, we heard there is a special way to order these
A visit with my high school friend Heather who will come see our beloved Red Sox at Citizen’s Bank Park

We will headed out early Wednesday but we hope to run up and down the Rocky stairs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and yes we will hum the music.

Next week the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY

I hope you enjoyed, Philly and got to do the things you wanted. I been there a few times and enjoyed it. Next for me is the Skydome, how was Cooperstown, driving down from Toronto.

I'm not sure how much time you have- but there are a couple of other things that you might consider adding to your itinerary.  There will be a free showing of Rocky on the Art Museum steps tonight (Wednesday) if you're not headed to tonight's game.  Also, Tony Luke's on Oregon makes a great cheese steak.  For my taste buds, they make the best.  (There's one in the park, but I haven't eaten there, so I don't know if it's as good.)  A stroll along the river and around South Street is always fun, too.  Enjoy your visit!
