Our first Chaser trip planned for July.

St. Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Kansas City.  Six stadiums in six days.  All traveling done by car leaving Dallas July 19th.  Has anyone taken this journey?  Any words or wisdom?  We are interested in doing all the stadium tours but don't want to waste money.  Any suggestions for taking the tours or not?

Any input would be greatly appreciated :)

I did Chicago (Cubs) and Milwaukee last summer and will do Minneapolis, St. Louis, and Kansas City this June. Don't drive to Wrigley. Parking is expensive and it's a nightmare to get out of after the game. Choose a hotel near a subway and everyone will be happy. I always recommend deep dish pizza in Chicago, but others like sausage and there are great steak places. I sat behind home plate in Milwaukee and it was good view.

Thanks Lisa.  Planning this is surely not as easy as you would think.  I have absolutely racked my brain the last few days.  I appreciate you input.  Maybe we'll cross paths in Chicago, Milwaukee or Minneapolis!

If you don't mind spending $200ish for a hotel, while in St Louis stay at Hilton @ the ballpark.  We stay there every year and love it!  Its right across the street from Cardinals stadium.  Their rooms offer views looking into the stadium or a view of the arch.  Perfect either way.  St Louis has lots of free or nearly free things to do, the zoo is free (but you pay for parking), Budweiser tour, Grants Farm.  If you have any specific questions about St Louis I can probably help; we've been there 10x easily.

Kansas City if you're traveling with kids, stay at the holiday inn water park hotel.  It's not only walkable to the stadium, but offers a 4 pack of waterpark tickets plus the room for around $200.  It was great to do during the day and catch a night game.  I loved Royals stadium.  It seemed fresh and new.  We sat in the cheap seats next to fountain and met some great fans and the kids loved watching the fountains when the game was boring to them.  We also ate at a Jack Stack BBQ and would highly suggest it! It was fabulous!

We're also going to Chicago, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis this summer so I don't have any suggestions for that.  I have also made a post about going there and gotten some great responses if you want to look back through my blogs.  I'm pretty excited about it actually, sounds like some really cool things to do see! :)
