Hey friends, I know there is plenty of baseball left, but the vacation schedule is almost over. I would love to plan one more last trip somewhere. Financially, I am unable to travel to an MLB game, so I thought I would maybe drive up to Cooperstown to see the greats or maybe stay local and catch a minor league game, maybe Staten Island. I have o e more week off, but promised that with my family. If anyone has feedback, please.

Thank you, Rich

FYI, this Sunday August 21 Washington Post has a big article about visiting Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame that may be useful to you. You should be able to pull it up on line at washingtonpost.com - may have to register at the site, but it does give you on line access to all their stuff.

Cooperstown is a good idea - the museum there is terrific, and there is lots to see and do in the area, which is beautiful. I'm sure you can get info on line but as I recall you can come and go all day on your ticket, and there is so much to see in the museum it gets overwhelming.
