I once watched 8 baseball games in four days. I had to get some help from the minor leagues, but here's how it went:

Day 1: (Doubleheader) Altoona Curve-Blair County Ballpark (7/21/2008): This was "Please Come to Altoona, Will Ferrell" Night. He didn't show up.
Day 2: Cincinnati Reds-Great American Ballpark (7/22/2008): Padres Vs. Reds
Day 3: DAY GAME-Cincinnati Reds-Great American Ballpark (7/23/2008): Greg Maddox pitched for the Padres. He was taken out of the game, and Adam Dunn sent the first pitch from his reliever over the right field fence for a grand slam
NIGHT GAME-Columbus Clippers-Old Harold Cooper Stadium 7/23/2008) - Clippers Vs. my beloved Pawtucket Red Sox. I sat next to someone who claimed to be George Kottaras's girlfriend.
Day 4: DAY GAME: Columbus Clippers (7/24/2008) - Day Game, last year of this ballpark
NIGHT GAME (Double header)-Mahoning Valley Scrappers: It was Dollar Dogs AND Irish Heritage Night. I don't think I need to tell you what part of the Irish heritage most people were celebrating that evening.

This was kind of a wild trip. Anyone else have excusions they could say were unusual?

Any of my trips sound tame compared to you and Chuck!

Hey Mike,

During my world record chases I have done a few doubleheaders in my time. I attempted 4 doubleheaders in 5 days as part 0f my 2008 record chase. i completed San Diego-Los Angeles Dodgers Day one-missed on the second half of a Detroit Cleveland double on day 2, then I Made a CUBS-Brewers doubleheader on day 3 and wouldn't you know that a flight delay in Chicago stopped me from a day game in Toronto, but I did a Washington-New York Mets double on day 5. In my 30 games in 24 days in summer of 2009(watching every single pitch mind you) I completed 6 doubleheaders in 7 attempts. I am going to be posting a doubleheaders scenario for the rest of the season tomorrow. In this blog will contain all possible doubleheader attempt within reason for MLB. Look for it. Good for you maximizing your trip. I can't stand a vacation day without a game either
