very excited that by this time next week I will have a (9) next to my name. Me, my partner and a friend are going to see the Phillies vs Dodgers on May 12 at Citizens Bank Ballpark!

I got Hall of Fame Level seats on stubhub for a crazy low price so i jumped at the opportunity.

we are gonna take the tour in the morning as well.....any suggestions on what else to do in philly while we wait for the game...i like historic things so it shouldnt be too hard to find things to do.

what about CBP...anything not to miss?

Yeah, CBP is a great park, probably my # 1 of the newer generation parks, behind Safeco (I admit, I am biased) :)

Here are some pix I took when we were there back in 2005 - Citizens Bank Park - May 1, 2005.

ahhh yes lunch is definitely cheese steaks....I prefer Pat's over Geno's but I like Geno's fries better! I am psyched to go to CBP

Be sure to check out Ashburn Alley out in center, some pretty cool history of the Phillies things there.

As for Philly, go put a penny on Ben Franklin's grave, plus the usual historical things... and don't forget to have a cheesesteak at both Pat's & Geno's and try not to do the one at CBP, while it's good, I have heard the original Geno's is much better than at the park. Gonna hit them both in June myself :)

Have fun, cause CBP is a great place to see a game. I loved how they have the stainless counter tops from pole to pole, so you can buy a cheap seat, and stand behind home with your beer and dog and watch the game... that's what I did, except it was a beer and a cheesesteak :)
