The Quest is complete (for now)!!! My 39th stadium, Nationals Park, completed the quest to attend games at all of the 30 active baseball stadiums. The bonus was getting to see my Mets defeat the Washington Nationals 4-3. Delete Comment

Well this last weekend was one to remember. Saturday we were on hand to witness Pedro and the Mets through a combined one-hitter, the 33 in Mets history (I’ve seen several of them) against the Rockies. The question is will the Mets ever throw a no-hitter? Time is running out at the big Shea.
Sunday marked the return of the multi-city day/night doubleheader. First it was off to Citizen’s Bank Park in Philadelphia to see the Phillies take on the Diamondbacks. Met killer, Pat Burell, hit a 3 run homer in the bottom of the 8th to help lead the Phils to a 6-3 come-from-behind win. Then the race was on to Shea stadium to catch the Mets hosting the Rockies again. This time Mike Pelfrey pitched a gem and with the help of Joe Smith combined on the second of back-to-back shutouts. The Mets offence produced 7 runs, a welcome surprise. Now to the All-star break.

I've actually seen games at 38 MLB parks so far. The only current one left is Nationals Park. I've also seen games at several minor league parks, Doubleday Field in Cooperstown and even the Nagoya dome in Japan. I've even played catch on the Field of Dreams.
