I haven't been to an MLB game yet this season. Extremely hard to believe. The weather has something to do with it, as does the sorry state of my New York Mets. I've also kept busy by "coming out of my baseball retirement". I am playing vintage baseball in the Coltsville Vintage Baseball League. We play 1860's rules that include playing bare-handed. Yes, with a hard ball. Check it out at the Friends of Vintage Baseball. It's a hoot!

I still have plans to see a game at the Twins' Target Field this season to once again finish off the active 30, for the 3rd time. Of course, it will be off to Florida next year to look for my 4th close out.

Craig,

An amateur video from a game last weekend was just posted. It can be found here.

I don't know if there any videos (I'll do dome homework and see if there are) however, the information on the league can be found at Friends of Vintage Baseball. I understand that WWUH (University of Hartford) did some interviews recently and came out to Colt Meadows to get input from some of our players. The resulting 1/2 hour program will be broadcast next week as follows:

* Tuesday 5/17 at 1 PM on WESU Middletown 88.1 FM and streaming at wesufm.org

* Wednesday 5/18 at noon on WWUH West Hartford 91.3 FM and streaming at wwuh.org

* Thursday 5/19 at 6 PM on WHUS Storrs 91.7 FM and streaming at whus.org

* As a podcast at hartfordimc.org
