The San Francisco Giants are launching “dynamic pricing” for their 2009 season. This new pricing structure will allow ticket prices to fluctuate on demand. The prices could move up or down on a daily basis depending on factors such as the weather condition, opposing team and the general ticket demand. The Giants are initially starting with their upper deck sections of AT&T Park, but predict is could catch on throughout their stadium as well as the entire sports industry.

I guess this could be good or bad. If you go to a game that no one is at, you might be able to buy a cheaper ticket than expected, or vice versa. I am just skeptical of it because they must be doing it to benefit themselves, not the fans.
