MLB, through the Atlantic League, is testing out stealing first base.  This is where any batter can try to run to first on any pitch not caught in flight.  The first player to steal first in a game is Southern Maryland Blue Crabs' Tony Thomas.  I cannot decide if I like this idea or not.  On one hand it adds another element of excitement to the game but on the other hand it changes the game I grew up with (still don't like the DH, but that is another story).  Any thoughts?
