Hey Doug! Quiet summer for me so far but its about to heat up! I am headed to New York next month for new Yankee Stadium and Citi Field! What were your impressions of the new parks?
the new yankee stadium is great! not being a homer or anything!!
you need to get there early to check out the museum or monument park... lines get huge.
i checked out the museum for one of the games i went to and it was cool.
the seats i get are same placement as what i have had over the years, i definitely got the feel i was at the old stadium a bit.....
concourses are great and lot more room to walk around
HUGE upgrade in food!!! if you like try out the garlic fries on the lower level!

i really liked CITI field too.. if you have been to atlanta is kind of feels like turner field with the open concourse in the back.. if you are in the upper deck, there is a hidden one also up there, which was cool to have... place it really nice.. i happen to go to a game where there were a bunch of home runs but don't expect that!
Hi Doug, I'm more of a minor league stadium guy so this might not be of interest..

I picked up Dayton, Columbus and Fort Wayne (all great!) in a weekend

Greensboro, Hickory, and Burlington NC the next weekend

Binghamton, Syracuse, Buffalo, and Rochester the next

and Pittsburgh and Erie PA this last weekend.

Others of the summer have been my local parks: Washington and Philly for majors and Potomac, Bowie, Frederick, Delmarva, Aberdeen and the indie league team, the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs.
that is awesome!! i like the minors but haven't been to a lot..
my true home park would be Merchants Auto Park in Manchester NH to see the NH FISHERCATS - DOUBLE A affiliate of the Jays... went to a couple games this season.. nice place to see a game if you ever get up here! Lowell, Portland and Pawtucket and all the Connecticut parks are within 3 hours!
