Tropicana Field

I spent this past weekend in Tampa watching my Orioles score 1 run in 2 games while I was there. I just wanted to add to the Hotel/Parking comments. You won't have to worry about parking at the game if you stay at the Courtyard Marriott. They have a free shuttle that will take you anywhere within 3 miles of the hotel. The shuttle is available from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. They'll pick you up from a restaurant if you don't want to walk after drinking and eating that big meal! Wanna leave the game early..just call the hotel and they will send the shuttle for you. You might have to wait a little bit,but it sure beats having to pay for parking.

What did you think of the Trop besides the lack of O's offense?

At first I wasn't thrilled by the Trop,but after sitting through the 2nd game it grew on me. It's not a bad place to watch a game especially where I was sitting..4 rows behind the visitors dugout! I wouldn't want to be playing there though. I had trouble picking the ball after it came out of the lights with that white roof. It's damn near impossible to follow!
