I went to an event at B’s Baseball Museum a few evenings ago.

Bruce (B) had a well known Sports Illustrated photographer (does a variety of sports, not just baseball and he has also done photos for National Geographic) speaking to a crowd of about 20 or so.  It started off with baseball trivia questions (I knew none of the answers); a short review by Bruce of two new items he has in his museum and how he obtained them, a presentation of photos and delightful stories from Rick (the photographer).  Lots of Q & A.  After the show one could meander through the museum.  Food (cheese/crackers, cookies, veggies, cracker jack) and soda was provided.  Even better, I won a door prize (picked my name out of the hat) of 4 free admissions to the museum.

It was a very delightful evening for me.

I'd recommend visiting the museum (not even a block from Coors Field) the next time you are in the area.  Do call ahead for times they are open.
