Ballpark Tours

I had a question about taking the tour at ballparks to throw out there. The only park that we have taken the tour of is Wrigley and it was great, mostly because of the history surrounding the…Continue

Mid Atlantic Road Trip 2014

Posted on August 25, 2014 at 1:47pm 0 Comments

My wife and I just completed our 4th summer baseball road trip together and our 1st with our daughter Megan (born in February.) We had a great time seeing my Mets play at Nationals Park and Citizen's Bank and seeing Steph's Yanks at Camden Yards. It was our first trip to Nationals Park and Camden Yards and we have high opinions of both. All three parks were especially accommodating with a 6 month old, especially in (although I hate to say it) Philadelphia. Not sure where next year will take…

Husband and Wife Baseball Road Trip to Seattle

Posted on November 2, 2013 at 9:08am 4 Comments

This past summer my wife (Mrs. Yankee) and I made a trip across the country to see Safeco Field. I was extremely impressed with the ballpark, surrounding neighborhood and the wonderful weather in Seattle in August. I haven't been to every stadium yet but it is certainly in my top 5. The food was what most impressed me about the park. It had an amazing selection. On the way out to Seattle we hit up Target Field, Progressive and Wrigley, all favorites we visited for the 2nd or 3rd times.…

ESPN Wrigley Field Article

Wondered what other's opinions are on this article on espn.com's website: http://espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/story/_/id/9047502/wrigley-ivy-choking-life-field

Very interesting. Some of the stuff the author mentioned in the article will never happen, but it does make some sense. I'm not a Cubs fan or from Chicago, but it is our favorate away field to visit. I might have a different perspective on…

2013 Husband and Wife Trip

Posted on March 26, 2013 at 1:49pm 1 Comment

After a long offseason dealing with Hurricane Sandy at work and a long northeast winter at home we can't wait to enjoy some summer fun at ballparks and national parks! This summer we're going to cross the country and head to Seattle's Safeco Field for the first time. This is our only new park this summer (we might make a weekend trip to Toronto though) but we intend to hit Glacier National Park and Badlands National Park on the way out and Yellowstone on the way back. We're also making what…
