After many years of talk, we have our 1st trip being planned. June 21-24 driving from the great city of Detroit to DC, Baltimore, Philly, then Pittsburg. There will be 4 of us and it's the 1st time for all at all of these parks. We all are pretty stoked so everything is pretty much planned to the minutes(no really! one of our guys actually made a spread sheet and emailed it to all of us) but if any of you have any must places to eat/stay/see, feel free to throw it out there. Also any recommendations of best places to sit would be great.

Love the site, Brandon.

Pat and genos will be a must stop. We will definitely look outside the cities to save a couple bucks. Thanks for the tips guys. Keep um coming. Getting pretty excited for the trip

Sounds like a great first trip.....Have fun!  Make sure you go to Genos when in Philly for the best cheese steak!

I have been to all but Pittsburgh so far.  It was cheaper for me to actually stay outside of the cities, but nothing more than a 10-15 minute drive to the ballpark.  For instance, in DC it was cheaper to stay in Alexandria VA.  In Baltimore, we stayed at the Marriott out by the airport in Linthicum instead of the Marriott on Eutaw street, and in Philly, it was cheaper to stay across the bridge in NJ.

Have fun!

Only been to Philly once, and the Phillies were on the road, so I didn't make it to a game. But I did go to the Victory Brewing Company's BrewPub that was really good food and beer. If you have the time, I recomend it highly.
