Any seats to avoid? Or any recommendations for seats. Would prefer around $40 or so. Its been 20 years since I was there...

Check StubHub for lower bowl tickets.  The biggest thing about Dodger Stadium (that may have been different there before) is that you have to have a lower bowl ticket to access the field level.  They're really strict about letting people down there.  Once you have a field level ticket feel free to move around to open seats as they're available.  You can get great prices on tickets in the upper deck, but you're limited to the UD.  Ditto for the All You Can Eat section; it's a great value, but you're limited to staying in that section.

I've always liked Dodger Stadium.  Be sure to hit Pinks for lunch!  (You can find the info online.)  I love their chili cheese dogs w/mustard!  Unbelievably good, even if they look unbelievably gross.

Have fun!

I ended up getting Upper Deck tickets due to price.  If it was just me, I would have splurged a little more but a co-worker is going with me and didnt want to spend a lot as he is not a big fan...But we got front row tickets from the Upper Deck right above 1st base so they should be good seats.  The last time I was there Ryne Sandberg went 0-6 and Andre Dawson won it with a PH single in the 14th inning in 1992.  Im definitely looking forward to it.

Dodger Dog has relly gone downhill. Order 1 to see if u like it. Tasted like rubber last week.

I really enjoyed the Dodgers game this past Monday.  Took an hour to get there from Torrance / Hermosa Beach where I was staying.  But we planned accordingly.  Parking was $15 but just got refunded $5 as the prices were lowered after I bought the parking pass online.  We sat the 1st row of the reserved level just above 1st base so really good seats.  We had eaten before the game on Hermosa Beach so we didnt have Dodger Dogs.  Had a beer.  Ridiculous prices for a beer but thankfully it was a tall one.  Jackie Robinson's widow was honored before the game.  Don Newcombe threw out the first pitch.  Magic Johnson was on the field and every time he was shown on the screen, there were lots of "Thank you Magic" chants. Great atmosphere for the game.  It turned out to be a blowout with a 9-1 Dodgers victory.  Had been close for a while but then a few errors ended it. Even though Dodger Stadium turns 50 this year, it doesn't feel it.  My only complaint is the segregated entrances that limits access to the park.
