Media frenzy begins early for the thirty27.com team

Josh and the thirty27 team were swarmed early last night, interviewing with KOMO tv in Seattle. Josh talked about the trip and all the pretzels he'll be eating along the way. Josh is known to survive on an all-carb and grain diet.

Some game notes from Seattle....
--Josh was nearly ejected from the stadium after being accused of videotaping game action by a security guard.
--Then in the fifth inning, it was actually thirty27 team member, Ken, and not Carlos Silva, that dropped the F-bomb that got Silva ejected.
--The thirty27 team met the Mariner Moose last night. It turns out that the Moose is just a man in a costume, and not an actual moose.

After the game, thirty27 immediately hit the highway, driving all night to reach San Francisco late this morning. Ken reportedly pounded out 7 Monster energy drinks during the drive and doesn't plan on sleeping until Sunday afternoon. Josh plans on napping at their free Homewood Suites hotel room before they both attend tonight's Detroit @ SanFrancisco game at 7pm Pacific Time.

Upon arriving in SF today, Josh did a taped phone interview with Josh Pacheco of ESPN Radio Hawaii.

He may be a man in a moose costume, but he hits better than Richie Sexson....

I had the pleasure of running into Josh and Ken last night before the game. They were really nice guys and seemed excited about their journey that lied ahead. I managed to get a picture with Josh in between their media frenzy...
