Judge learning 'a couple of secrets' via Stanton

Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton combined to mash 57 home runs in their first year as teammates, and the Yankees' power-hitting duo is continuing to enjoy a relationship that extends past each of their at-bats.

Lifting off: Healthy Judge puts foes on notice

Aaron Judge's megawatt smile was on display at George M. Steinbrenner Field on Tuesday afternoon, accompanied by glimpses of his light-tower power. Any discomfort in his right wrist has long been extinguished, which has the Yankees dreaming of another big-time season from their slugging right fielder.

Yankees content to move on without Machado

On Dec. 19, the Yankees entertained Manny Machado for 90 minutes at Yankee Stadium, then continued to discuss a potential future together over dinner on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It was to be the closest that Machado would come to playing for the Yankees, who had been widely believed to be his preferred destination.

Betances' priorities? Baby boy, WS title quest

Stanton stands to benefit from AL comfortability

Asked for the biggest takeaway of his first season in Yankees pinstripes, Giancarlo Stanton offered a not-so-veiled swipe at his former employer, noting how his new expectation is to keep the Yankee Stadium lights burning throughout the month of October.

Watching Aaron Judge pummel batting-practice fastballs at the Yankees' Minor League complex this week, two words came to Aaron Boone's mind: "Plus power."

Yanks open to extensions for other big players

Now that Luis Severino and the Yankees were able to avoid salary arbitration and find common ground on a four-year, $40 million contract extension, could Aaron Judge or Gary Sanchez be the next "Baby Bombers" to cash in?

There is nothing better then the Yankee greats. I had Don Mattingly as my favorite Yankee growing up. Today I am going with Mark Teixeira, and love John Sterling's call of "He sent a TEX Message to Right Field, oh you are on the MARK Teixeira. Yeah, and how can you have Ozzie Smith and Kirby Puckett in the HALL OF FAME and not Donnie Baseball whose average season was .307 with 20 hr's and 100 rbi, with 200 hits aND 40 DOUBLES. Lest we forget was a 9 time gold glover which ranks him second all time among first baseman. Defense is supposed to count right?
