Bummer, I had to change my status from 18 current stadiums visited to 17, due to the HHH Metrodome no longer active. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it all the way out to Target Field this year, but hopefully I can get out to at least one new…

Ok, back to business on my baseball blog: http://juniorsbaseballblog.blogspot.com/

Thanks guys for the feedback...I like using Barry's tickets, I have used them in the past, but I have a hard time justifying spending $500 plus per ticket. I think that I will take my chances and wait to see if I get selected for the drawing, if not…

Hey Junior- tickets are not on sale yet for the general public and as Doug said, it will be more of a "drawing", rather than an opportunity to just purchase. Your only option right now is to go with a ticket broker. Did you check out our friends at…

If it's anything like the last two year's, the host team will have a link to pre-register for an opportunity to buy tickets. They'll have an electronic drawing from the emails, and those people will get links to buy via link. You won't see them actu…

You're killing me, Ken! Thanks for the standing invite, be careful I may cash in! (After I get back from Denver and Alaska these next few weeks, that is.)
February 3
Doug you're more than welcome to come down... we got MLBN in HD, 62 Inch tv and cold beer :) Been looking forward to the start... early baseball is ALWAYS worth watching :)

Before last year, I used to watch it on ESPN Deportes in Spanish...it's still worth watching, even if you don't know Spanish. Bummer about not getting the MLB Network.
February 3
It's unbelievable that my cable company doesn't have MLB Network yet. Every time I email them (which is a lot), their response gets briefer and briefer. Ha-Ha. I'd be all over that right now, and feel the same way you do about wanting to visit Puer…

2010 All-Star Game tickets

Anyone know when the all-star game or HR Derby tix will go on sale to the non-season ticket holding general public? I can't find anything on the Angels site, except for all-star celebration activities, which I'm not really interested in attending, except for the actual game or HR Derby. They are way too expensive on StubHub, etc...

Caribbean Series starts today!!!

Hey friends,

If you've never watched the Caribbean Series, do yourself a favor and check it out. I became a fan in 2005 and watch it religiously on TV every year. It's broadcasted on the MLB Network in English or on ESPN Deportes in Spanish. The passion and level of play is pretty unreal. It first began in 1949 and is played with the winners of each Winter League in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela. You even get MLB players in the mix. This year it's in Venezuela and next… Continue

You will never see the American game the same way again. The Japanese game is faster, they put the ball in play most of the time, no one steps out, and there's only 2 minutes allowed between innings. The pitchers actually start warming up in front of the dugout with 2 outs in the inning.

Plus, the fans are amazing. Constant cheering, drums, there are songs for the teams, even some of the most popular players have their own songs.

It's completely amazing.
