My name's Diane and I love this site. Thanks, Craig! My college roomate (from Atlanta) and I (from Portland, Oregon--originally from the North Side of Chicago) started meeting every summer to go to a game. So far, we've been to Seattle, San Francisco, Wrigley Field, Atlanta, Baltimore, the old Yankee Stadium, Boston, Minneapolis. This summer we're going to Denver and just bought tickets down the first base line for a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains, according to the Coors…
I recently joined Ballpark Chasers and am really enjoying the content on this site so I thought I'd contribute my background to start off with.
I have lived in Iowa all my life so I've never lived within 2 hours of an MLB stadium. I grew up in Shenandoah (southwest corner of the state) so we were just over 2 hours from Kansas City and that has led to my Royals fandom (yes, I'm still a fan after nearly 30 years of no postseason play). Although the idea of a road trip sounds great, I think the reality will be the multiple trip scenario.
It might be splitting hairs, but with all the construction of new…

If you like MLB Summer Break and are on Twitter, please tweet @MLBNetwork and @MLB directly! (I'm trying to build some momentum!)
